AURORA PARENTING PLUS
Aurora Parenting Plus is an educational channel to assist families with young children in providing engaging and informative parenting and early education video sessions.
Brought to you by Aurora Early Learning Centre, this initiative started from our everyday conversations with our families whom often asked us questions at our centres or in one of our education workshops and seminars. Children’s growth and well-being is a partnership between parents and educators, hence it is crucial to equip parents with adequate tools and to share our knowledge.
Having been a qualified speech pathologist for 22 years and a mother of 5 children, the founder and director of Aurora Early Learning Centre, Dalal Lim has been very passionate about early childhood education. Here at Aurora, we believe in a holistic approach to children’s education and development. We are passionate about innovative and progressive early learning through the emphasis on speech and communications, healthy eating, a caring and active lifestyle. We develop confident young leaders whom have strong humanistic emotional skills on top of the technical pre-numeracy and pre-literacy skills.
As the Aurora Parenting Plus series progresses, we will be bringing in specialist experts like school teachers, occupational therapists, doctors, art teachers, music teachers and others to impart their wisdom on us. Hosted by Dalal, Aurora Parenting Plus will cover familiar topics like sleep patterns, speech and language milestones, sensory processing, art, music and creative thinking, transition to school, or even simple question like when should my child start reading and writing.
Aurora Parenting Plus is a community initiative intended for public audience. We welcome questions and suggestions on topics to cover in our series. Please feel free to email us at plus@auroraelc.com.au.
If you enjoyed the episodes, please remember to like the videos and subscribe to the channel.
