It is with great pleasure and pride that we announce that we have received our final assessment and rating from the Department of Education & Training.
We have been awarded Exceeding National Quality Standard. There are over 15,417 centres in Australia, but only 3,601 have been rated exceeding, 1,004 of those are in NSW. With only 23% of all centres meet the exceeding standard, we are proud to be part of this small group of excellence.
Through a full day detailed inspection by NSW Department of Education at the end of July 2017, we were assessed against the 7 quality areas of the National Quality Standard (NQS) and given an overall rating based on these results.

Our next challenge is to be awarded the Excellence in Education and Care which only 10 centres in NSW have been awarded.

Aurora Early Learning Centre is a boutique Centre founded and managed by Dalal Lim (B. App. Science - University of Sydney), a qualified Speech Therapist with 20 years of professional experience in the Speech and Communications development of young children.
Since 1989, the Centre has faithfully serviced the families within the Blacktown area from its central and convenient location on 186 Flushcombe Road. In mid-2014 the centre was reinvented by Dalal and the team. We are embarking on a journey to redefine the future of child care and early learning through the emphasis on speech and communications, healthy food, caring and active lifestyle. We offer a safe and nurturing environment with the support of dedicated and qualified early learning professionals.
The services that we offer are:
- Long day care program for 2-5 years old
- Before and after school care
- Vacation care program
- School readiness program
- Nutritionally balanced meals
- Online individualised children portfolio
- Exciting new nature based concept outdoor play area
With 2 vibrant rooms, the Bumblebee and Dragonfly rooms that caters for different age group, we are a 39 place Centre that pride on our detail attention to the children's needs and development. In addition, our Grasshopper Program caters for our Out of School Hours Care (OOSH). We offer healthy and balanced meals that focuses on freshness and nutritional value. In addition to our large sunny outdoor play area, with the help of our children, we built our own organic vegetable & fruit and herb garden. This forms part of the children's understanding on Food and its origin.
